AMAZING BOOK FOR TEACHING!!!
First, this book is FUN! It’s silly and has a lot of interaction between the reader and listener.
That in itself is a reason to buy it.
But if you’re a teacher… the vocabulary is amazing!! The amount of “rare words” in this book will blow your mind. The author is an actual teacher, so this was done intentionally.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Very engaging!! Hippos are VERY popular (Thanks Fiona!!) and children will love following the adventures of this baby hippo and the girls who help him find his mother. The writing is solid and engaging and the illustrations are top-notch. A perfect book for your young reader.

This adorable book features two little girls who just aren’t ready to settle down to bed and the poor little baby pink hip…well, I won’t give away the whole story! The author is also an educator and the language is rich and varied. Don’t miss this one!
